Guidance for every step.

Practical next steps, honest answers and support for the days ahead.

What is the difference between direct cremation and cremation with a viewing?

Direct cremation has no visitation or service beforehand. Viewing, then cremation adds private time with your loved one in our family suite first.

Is embalming required?

No. Embalming is not required by law in Ontario. It may be recommended for some open-casket viewings, and we’ll always explain why.

What is a natural burial?

A burial without embalming or metal caskets, using a shroud or natural container in a green burial section, so the body returns to the earth naturally.

Are your prices all-inclusive?

Our package prices include everything listed. HST is added, and third-party costs like cemetery fees are paid directly to those providers. Our estimate builder shows it all.

Can we hold a service at our church or another venue?

Yes. We coordinate services at churches, our facility, or any venue meaningful to your family.

How long does cremation take?

Ontario requires a coroner’s review and a waiting period of at least 48 hours before cremation. We’ll give you a clear timeline from the first call.

Can I plan or pay for my funeral in advance?

Yes. Pre-planning records your wishes and spares your family difficult decisions. Pre-paid funds are protected as required by Ontario regulations.

Which areas do you serve?

Hamilton and surrounding communities including Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Burlington and Grimsby.
